About Us

TMR is a BVI based family office with investment activities in both North America and Europe. TMR concentrates in equities, fixed income, real estate (including healthcare) and the hospitality sectors (food/beverage, hotels, leisure).

It is, in parallel, a value-added investor focusing on companies which need restructuring and repositioning as well as providing specialist management and directors as required.

Notable Transactions

Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT:

Ongoing dialogue with the Board on strategy as to the restructuring of the company.
Assura plc (“Assura”) / Primary Healthcare Properties plc (“Primary”):

Engaged with the Board of Primary to diversify its strategy from just the NHS as principal landlord leading to the Assura bid/merger.
The Restaurant Group:

Communication with the Board on its visions for the breakup of the company including which components were core versus non-core, developing business for takeover and directly approaching different private equity firms leading to Apollo Private Equity taking the company private.
Artis REIT:

Working with other shareholders in forcing the removal of the management team leading to the restructuring of the company.
Carrefour SA:

Working with an activist firm to communicate with the company’s board on focusing on the repositioning of the company.
ACP Capital Limited (“ACP”):

Interacting with the board of ACP in its breakup and sale of assets including bidding alongside Blackstone Private Equity for its most significant subsidiary IFR Capital Limited.
Wayfair:

Identified and invested in undervalued online retailer which the Team believed was executing an excellent turnaround strategy and with a strong niche online furniture business.
